theLAB are playing at this weekends Shambala festival & then onto Plasa 2010 with Edirol.

Welcome
issueZERO single bank sampler!

Image
With a development cycle of around about 4 years so far, and too many tales inbetween the scheduled release dates ... theLAB are astounded to place onto this website for your downloading the first sample bank off of theLAB's issueZERO DVD.

This 258 meg .iso download contains a single navigationable bank of nine video loops for testing on domestic DVD players.  Using the remote control, you can navigate up, down, left and right around the loop matrix.

We have tested the playback on many DVD players throughout it's development, and can recommend the cheap, ASDA and Tesco own brand

Sample stills from bank
players for between £14 - £17. These respond quickly to button presses on the remote control and offer the smoothest playback so far.

To burn the downloaded .iso file, we recommend using the free PC burning software imgburn. You can burn this image directly to a blank CD if you do not have a DVD spare and create a miniDVD (most players should be able to play them once created).  The DVD has no menu system and will immediately start playing the first loop.  Simply refer to the image to the right for your navigational map.

*PLEASE NOTE*  This sample DVD is in the PAL format ONLY at the moment, allthough running it on a PC is possible using the cursor keys to navigate (VLC media player does a very good job of this).

Loop layout bank 1
"When you want to change the visual, simply press one of the directional keys on your remote control and watch the loop change into the selected visual.  Starting from loop 5, press UP on your remote to transfer to loop number 2.

The navigation has been designed to allow you to ‘wrap around’.  As we are currently on loop 2 of bank 1, press UP once again on your remote and you will be transferred to loop 8 (check once again on the rear of this case).

This wrap around works for all loops once you reach the edge of the currently selected bank.
"

You can download the sampler via this link or you can use the BitTorrent DNA downloader here (you will have to allow BitTorrentDNA through your firewall if you are using one).  For more information on BitTorrentDNA have a look here.

Mac users:  To burn the downloaded .iso image please follow the following simple directions.
  1. Insert a blank disc.
