This December is a festive one for theLAB.  Starting with the mighty Free Control in Nottingham (Dec 10th),  the fourth Cinephonic with Mr Elephant in Birmingham at the Hare and Hounds (Dec 11th) and back to Leicester for our first event with the Stench collective at the Independant Arts Center (Dec 12th).

 
Mr Elephant is a phat mammal on a big mission. Since January 2007, a collective of like minded humans have come together to create groundbreaking events, a radio show and elephant workshops. With the recent addition of the Cinephonic Dancefloor Sessions headed up by Blendstate Visuals, Mr Elephant has moved onto tightly choreographed audio visual entertainment www.mrelephant.com.

Stench is an artist-led forum for innovative performance, experimental music and digital arts. We're based in Leicester in the East Midlands but open to anyone who is interested in being involved in creative projects that go beyond the mainstream. We run regular events in Leicester and maintain our own "Stenchcast" podcast series www.stench.org.uk.

Free Control brings together five determined musicians with the intention of making music they want to listen to. Their aim is to make music that inspires them personally, and to create an amazing live experience for their audience.
